  • 180 g Börek Cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1½ cups flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • ½ bunch dill
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Sesame seeds
  • Black cumin seeds

Directions

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper muffin cases.

Wash and finely chop the spinach. Finely chop the dill.

Whisk the eggs in a large mixing bowl. Add the yogurt and olive oil, then mix well.

Sift in the flour and baking powder. Add the salt and black pepper, then stir until you have a smooth batter.

Crumble the Börek Cheese. Add the chopped spinach, dill and crumbled cheese to the batter.

Gently fold everything together with a spatula.

Divide the batter evenly between the muffin cases. Sprinkle sesame seeds and black cumin seeds on top.

Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 25–30 minutes, until the muffins are lightly golden on top.

Remove from the oven and let them rest briefly. Serve warm or at room temperature.
